Alphabet Kidz Celebrate BAFTA

Children’s Acting Agency Alphabet Kidz is celebrating with one of their artists who recently won a BAFTA- this is the first for the agency.
Harley Bird was presented with the award for her role as the voice of one of the world’s best loved pigs- Peppa Pig- Harley is also the youngest ever BAFTA award winner.
Lisa Balcombe, Agent and Director of Alphabet Kidz, said: "It’s the first Award the Agency has got for one of its young actors, and we are all very excited.
"Harley got the role of Peppa within weeks of auditioning with the Agency a few years ago. I called her contact at Peppa Pig and said I have the voice of 'Peppa' for you to meet, they met Harley and she got signed as the Voice of Peppa Pig within weeks".
Harley first started voicing the role of Peppa Pig nearly four years ago and is still the famous voice of the world’s best loved pigs. She also voices Peppa Pig toys for the UK and US due to Peppa’s growing success worldwide.
The Agency, Alphabet Kidz, has been running for eight years and looks after actors for TV, Film, Voice Overs and Commercials. The voice artists on their books range from three years of age to 50 plus.
Meanwhile their other Voice Artists record the voices of some well known animated favorites including a wealth of Peppa Pig characters and as well as this lead voice overs for characters in Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom, Rah Rah the Noisy Lion, Itch of the Golden Nit, 3rd & Bird, Humf, Wonder Pets, Waybuloo, Small Potatoes, Charlie & Lola and two of the Aliens in the latest Argos Xmas Commercial.
Harley’s success at the BAFTAs pays tribute to the caliber of work the agency does.
The young talent, signed with Alphabet Kidz, have starred in high profile TV Series(s); Dr Who, REV (BBC2), Sadie J Series I & II (CBBC), BBC Drama One Night, Casualty, and commercials for Next, Tesco, Marks and Spencer, John Lewis, Hennes, Haven, Haribo and Argos.
