Make Sense Of File-Based Workflow With Root6 At IBC

UK-based creative technology supplier Root6 will be in force at IBC this week. Not only with its proprietary transcoding and file-based management platform ContentAgent, but the company's staff will also populate other manufacturer's stands to demonstrate how leading 'best-of-breed' technologies may be integrated to create file-based workflows, initiating substantial operational efficiencies and cost savings.
Root6 Technology, the product development arm of Root6 will be showing the latest iteration of ContentAgent software on stand 7.C17. This universal workflow management tool will be shown with specific enhancements to film, post production and broadcast workflows, including RED rocket support and enhanced support for Avid Interplay, and with new levels of scalability and automation. There will also be a private demo suite where the R&D team will be showcasing some very exciting technology that’s currently under development.
Elsewhere in Hall 7, the natural home of post at IBC, Root6 will have representation on other stands, large and small, that the re-seller has identified as being key to the successful implementation of file-based working.
