Vaddio Wins Awards At InfoComm 2011

Vaddio, a leading provider of robotic PTZ cameras and camera control systems, was awarded Best New User-Friendly Distance Learning Product, Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera and Digital Signage Interactive Whiteboard by AV Technology and Commercial Integratozines at InfoComm 2011 in Orlando, Florida.

Vaddio's AutoTrak Automated Camera Tracking System won Best New User-Friendly Distance Learning System from AV Technology Magazine. The first annual 2011 AV Technology end-user awards programme recognises innovations that benefit end-users, technology managers and facility directors.
Judges evaluated submissions and selected winners based on the nominated companies' ease-of-use, reliability, overall network impact and ROI. This year's esteemed panel of judges included Phil Hippensteel, PhD, Penn State University, Harrisburg; Jan Ozer, Streaming Media and author of 11 books; Steve Cunningham, USC's Thorton School of Music; and Christopher Malone, CTS-D, Christopher Malone Associates. The judges stated: "The Vaddio Tracking system was intriguing and promised to solve one of the most significant streaming personnel issues - providing for camera operation. By doing this automatically, scheduling the operator is eliminated and costs for that individual are eliminated."
Vaddio's Squiggle Video Whiteboard Kit and ClearVIEW HD-20 Robotic PTZ Camera were awarded Commercial Integrator's Inaugural BEST Awards in the categories of Pan/Tilt/Zoom Cameras and Digital Signage Interactive Whiteboards. The BEST Awards programme recognises the most noteworthy new products and services that can impact commercial integrators' businesses in 2011. Tom LeBlanc, Editor-in-Chief, said: "Commercial Integrator takes pride in focusing on content that can help integrators become more efficient and more profitable."
A panel of experts, integrators and the editors of Commercial Integrator choose the winners of the inaugural BEST Awards.
Other noteworthy Vaddio products debuting at InfoComm 2011 were the ClearVIEW HD-19 PTZ Camera, ProductionVIEW HD MV with built-in multiviewer, CeilingVIEW HD HideAway, Squiggle IP Software Module and the new Production Workstations.
