Brave Film named 'Small Business of the Year'

The Brave Film Company have been named 'Small Business of the Year' at the Orange Small is Beautiful Awards.
The awards, are designed to recognise the "passion, dedication and hard work" that goes into successfully running a small business.
Emily Bliss and Michelle Stapleton, founders of The Brave Film Company, were awarded a prize for the best performing team as well as scooping the overall female Orange Small Business of the Year Award.
With the main focus of the company being on spotting and nurturing the talent of new directors and staff, the judges were very impressed with its unusually low staff turnover for the industry coupled with unusually high demand for repeat business.
Simon Woodroffe, founder and owner of YO! Sushi, and judge of the best performing team category, said of Brave: "Emily and Michelle have obviously built-up a strong team of individuals who have shown determination to succeed in a competitive and traditionally male dominated industry."
