FANTA4 Fans Enjoy Front Row 3D Experience

On September 28, 2010, Chyron made history providing graphics for the first live stereoscopic 3D concert by German hip-hop group Die Fantastischen Vier, also known as FANTA4.
This exclusive event managed by Mitteldeutsches Multimediazentrum Halle was held at Steintor-Varieté in Halle an deer Saale and fully supported by Chyron GmbH, Wiesbaden.
Chyron's revolutionary on-air graphics were the backbone of the stereoscopic experience and were displayed in over 90 cinemas in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, belgium and Luxembourg. Fans had the opportunity to see every graphic pop through the screen while being treated to a front row experience.
Alexander Schaefer, initiator and organiser of the live transmission and Head of the Technical Department for Mitteldeutsches Multimediazentrum Halle, said: "In conjunction with the forum for 3D cinema and stereoscopic media productions' we formulated an idea to develop solutions for a first 3D transmission to multiple cinemas. It has been wonderful to work with such a professional and responsive team like Chyron for such perfect 3D production."
