Bright Space Add Telemetrics LIU-EX-3

Trade distributor to the AV and broadcast industry and exclusive UK distributor of Telemetrics robotics control equipment, Bright Space Technologies, has announced the availability of the new Telemetrics LIU-EX-3 module which allows the robotic interface to control the standard lenses on the popular Sony PMW-EX-3 camera.
Colin Clarke Senior Technical Sales & Support Manager, Bright Space Technologies, explained: "Normally camera lenses need to be of certain types, (full servo/Teleconference types), to incorporate control on our range of Robotic PT heads. This unit now provides an instant upgrade path to those who wish to move into Robotic set HD production on a budget."
Prior to the development of the Telemetrics LIU-EX-3 module, an adaptor allowing 1/2" or 2/3rd" lenses would be used to replace the standard 14x servo lens. Clarke continued: "While this is still an option for longer zoom or wider ratio production requirements, the new product saves the budget that would otherwise be spent to do this. The overall saving can be significant as the new units are available at only £1,850.00 plus VAT. So, if HD robotics is on your agenda look at Telemetrics solutions."
An additional benefit of the Telemetrics LIU-EX-3, is that it provides an external controller specifically designed for Sony PMW-EX-3 cameras and customers with the full Telemetrics Control system CPS-ST-S can interface to the camera remote port to take advantage of camera 'paint' functions.
