ITV Studios Announce Deal With BASE

ITV Studios Global Entertainment and ten-time Emmy Award winning US production company BASE Productions have concluded a significant distribution development agreement.
The parties will partner in a multi-year, exclusive deal giving ITV Studios Global Entertainment worldwide rights (excluding the US) to formats and series produced by BASE and expanding BASE's reach to the global marketplace.
The first series, as part of the new deal, is BASE Productions' top-rated Mystery 360, which will be available internationally for the first time at MIPCOM from ITV Studios Global Entertainment.
Whether it is the existence of aliens, the possibility of life after death, or sightings of strange creatures, the lure of the unknown has always been irresistible. Mystery 360 uses the latest scientific techniques to uncover whether weird happenings, myths and strange phenomena are simply illusions or real.
The series launch delves into the search for Big Foot, investigates a mysterious UFO Invasion and hunts for the ghostly spirits that haunt a US prison. Mystery 360 is the first-ever visually immersive look at unexplained phenomena, using cutting-edge technology and groundbreaking CGI.

The deal was brokered by Gary McDonagh, Acquisitions Manager for ITV Studios Global Entertainment and Mickey Stern, Co-CEO for BASE Productions.
