Input Media Announces New Director
One of Europe's premiere sports production companies, has announced the appointment of Claire Murphy, who will be joining the company as Director of Business Development.
Claire's responsibility at Input Media will be to use her experience and contacts to develop new business streams and cultivate new client relationships.
Claire will be specialising in the commercial exploitation of content for clients with a focus on cross platform and digital projects. She will also manage some of Input Media’s existing client relationships. Claire has a wealth of experience from her time at ITV, including sport, and sponsorship and is extremely well connected in the sports arena.
David Johnson, Managing Director at Input Media said: "I am delighted that Input Media is welcoming Claire to the team - she will bring a new dimension of commercial experience into the business to help us achieve our growth plan. I have always admired the work Claire did at ITV, particularly in her management of their sports relationships."
Murphy joined ITV Global Entertainment as Commercial Sports Director after starting her career in media sales at Tyne Tees Television and worked in advertising for 13 years through numerous ITV company mergers. Her role as Commercial Sports Director within the ITV Global Entertainment division had a broader brief to deliver a sports portfolio for the division. Early successes included developing an ITV Sports Classics catalogue, with the first client being ESPN Classic and representing rights holders such as Toast Events and Sweetspot - the event organisers behind the Tour of Britain.
