Abit's Present it Automation to Interface with Evertz

A playout automation specialist, has announced that it has created an interface between its Present-it automation system and the Evertz HD QMC2-HD mixer. This addition of the Evertz mixer to Abit Ltd's automation portfolio of equipment drivers is part of the ongoing workflow drive to control both SD and HD material within the organisations file based workflow and subsequently at the point of playout transmission.
The Abit Present-it automation system’s top-down framework design allows it to be integrated with any peripheral device.
Rob Leishman, Marketing Manager commented: "This means necessary changes, additions or interfaces to new equipment can be created simply, making the system particularly flexible and ready to integrate with both legacy and future hardware and software. Most importantly, this protects broadcasters' investment in automation over the long term."
