Brainstorm Announces Support For NVIDIA Digital Video Pipeline

An industry-leading real-time 3D interactive graphics company is helping NVIDIA demonstrate a real-time 3D broadcast workflow leveraging the NVIDIA Quadro Digital Video Pipeline at this years NAB show. Brainstorm are supporting the Quadro Digital Video Pipeline, the industry’s first integrated platform for real-time acquisition, processing and delivery of traditional and 3D content – all accelerated by NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs).
Leveraging a massively parallel graphics computation engine in a flexible, reliable and cost-effective workstation, the NVIDIA Quadro Digital Video Pipeline can ingest four HD-SDI feeds simultaneously, composite real-time 3D graphics, and output right eye and left eye HD-SDI streams with audio. With support for both DirectX and OpenGL, software developers are empowered to build sophisticated solutions on this flexible platform.

Brainstorm Multimedia (Booth #SL 5329) and Brainstorm America (Booth #SL 6005) are working closely with NVIDIA to deliver 3D broadcast production workflows leveraging the Quadro Digital Video Pipeline. Brainstorm provides solutions for enhancing live, on-air broadcasts with computer generated graphics, virtual sets and augmented reality.
