Take 1 To Transcribe BVE Seminars

The preferred transcription provider to ITV and Discovery, Take 1, which also works with more than 450 UK production companies, is to work at this month's BVE.
Selected seminars from the Broadcast Video Expo, taking place from 16th - 18th February at Earls Court, will be fully transcribed by Take 1.
The BVE contract comes after successfully delivering full intelligent transcripts to delegates of last month's Digital Archive Forum, and Take 1 will also be transcribing EMAP's upcoming Factual Forum, TV Drama Forum and Digital Workflow Design conference.
These are all key events within the broadcast media calendar at which industry professionals meet to discuss, challenge and create new ideas.
A spokeman said that EMAP recognised the value that transcripts add to the delegate package, enabling them to listen to the seminars without worrying about scribbling notes, and to refer to the content at a later date.
"They know that they can rely on Take 1 to take care of everything from recording the events through to preparing the transcripts, proof reading them and quickly delivering them to the delegates via their secure FTP site," he said.
Other services include time-coded transcripts, post-production scripts, foreign language transcription, translation to and from more than 90 languages, edit suite interpreters.
Recent credits include Kitchen Nightmares (Optomen), Celebrity Big Brother (Endemol), Restoration Man (Tiger Aspect), Who Do You Think You Are? (Wall to Wall), Seven Ages of Britain (BBC), South Bank Show (ITV), Build a New Life (Shine), Storm Chasers (Discovery), Jamie's Family Christmas (Fresh One), The Apprentice (Talkback Thames) and Peep Show (Objective Productions) .
