MotionFX

MotionFX has pioneered the use of Digital Capture using the Thomson Viper Film stream camera in conjunction with the S.two DFR hard disk recording system. This system captures 10 bit log 4:4:4 RGB uncompressed onto hard disk. This data is equivalent to a 2K scan of 35mm and has a similar latitude(approx 8.5 stops). This data can be posted on any system capable of handling DPX files or our own Quantel iQ. It can then be outputted to any HD tape format or 35mm print. Digital cinema has arrived.
