Sapphire Sleeps was formed to provide high end quality accommodation to working professionals on short stays. Coming from a corporate business background and teaching remotely our work primarily consisted of out of town work.

On a business trip we could be needed on a project at any given time. Other professionals in our industries also came to the conclusion that it is quite a challenge in finding good, safe, cost effective accommodation that is more than just a room in a hotel. During events and high seasons it became clear to us that there is definitely a demand for the type of accommodation we can offer. Hence the birth of Sapphire Sleeps. Sapphire also happens to be our daughters name and we bear in mind the struggles parents have booking a break in a traditional hotel as it’s difficult to relax in.
