Newsworthy Vision is a London based production company, specialising in covering breaking news events, live broadcasting, multi-camera productions and IP uplinking via our Dejero systems.

We have been in operation since 2010, and in the last nine years, we have been hired to work around the planet for some of the world's largest television networks, including BBC News, CNN, Sky, ABC News USA, CBS, and the Australian networks ABC, TEN, Seven and Nine.

Breaking News - Camera Operating and Editing
Our primary role is working as a fully equipped breaking news outfit, with all the equipment needed to film, edit and transmit breaking news from London, the UK, Europe or the rest of the world. It's been the speciality of company director Nick Smith for the last twenty years, starting in Australia in 1999.

He has covered extensive breaking news events around the world, including the US troop pullout from Iraq in 2011/12. The Manchester concert bombing in 2018, for which he was nominated for an Emmy in the breaking news events category working with a team from CNN. He has also worked in Moscow & Saint Petersburg extensively, as well as all around Europe and the Middle East. From all of this work, he has also built up a network of freelance fixers, stringers, camera crews and producers that he can call on for assistance for any production that requires it.

Dejero IP Uplinking
Newsworthy Vision is connected to a worldwide fibre distribution network through our access point in Los Angeles in the USA, which allows us to feed pictures either in real time or as a data stream to virtually anywhere in the world via either Dejero laptop software or via our Dejero GoBox IP uplinking unit.

Multi-camera live productions
We also can mobilise with a mobile production unit, which allows us to set up a multi-camera switching production control room and studio virtually anywhere, using our custom built PC utilising vMix live video streaming and switching software. We can run instant replays, have dynamic on-screen graphics and broadcast to any online video platform using either available venue internet or our own portable Dejero IP uplinking hardware. The need for large, cumbersome outside broadcast trucks to broadcast significant events is on the decline.

Broadcast equipment rental
We can also hire out broadcast production equipment to networks, companies and individuals for a large variety of projects. Ranging from basic newsgathering kits to larger 4K UHD ready cinema kits. We also have a range of Nila outdoor battery powered daylight HMI lights prepared to deploy for any sized production.
