Band Studios

Band Studios came to life in 2013.

We spent eight months completely renovating a Brislington industrial unit into a high quality two-studio facility to serve the creative industries in Bristol, Bath and beyond.

We built the studios to be a place people want to come and work. To us that means offering high quality production spaces that allow our clients to get the most out of their shoot time, as well as offering comfortable areas and facilities away from the studios themselves.

We have great transport links for the M4/M32 and the A4, just a few minutes from Bristol Temple Meads and a great variety of conveniences nearby.

Band was built, and is run by brothers Pete and Tom Martin, both of whom have worked in video production for many years, which means we understand our clients' requirements and can offer expert advice when needed.

Studio Hire
Studios One (Biggie) and Two (smalls) are both outstanding production spaces. We take huge pride in the standard of both, with excellent sound quality throughout and loads of features to make your shoot run smoothly.

Studio One
A great studio space from CYC to set build. This is our main studio, providing a sound proofed space for a wide variety of uses - from television programs and commercials to music videos, events and fashion shoots. The studio features a two sided 15 by nine metre infinity wall; over five metres high and painted white as standard. Studio One has roller shutter access, a large gantry and four space lights permanently rigged to our ceiling grid.

Studio Two
A quiet, versatile production space. Our smaller studio is hugely popular; built to provide an affordable space for smaller scale video production. The perfect studio for piece to camera work, training videos, animation and product photography. This 4m x 6m space features a floor to ceiling white cove for neutral infinity background, plus all around black drape and pull-down coloramas including green Chromakey. The studio is sound proofed and acoustically treated to reduce echo, and dry hire includes use of two pre-installed four foot, four bank Kino flo lights to light the background.

Away from our client's studio-specific requirements, we provide facilities that will make your shoot go smoothly, from parking, breakout spaces and showers to edit suites, production office space and a range of video game consoles for downtime (or keeping the talent occupied between takes).

Production
Band Studios is also home to our production arm - Band Films. We shoot both in our studio and on location, via agencies or working directly with our own clients. We can be hired as crew, taking on aspects of production, or we can work from concept through to final edit.
