Soliton Systems provides an enterprise class product for live event streaming direct from broadcast camera’s. The Zao is a light-weight H265 (HEVC) battery operated mobile encoder that streams across multiple “bonded” 3G/4G mobile phone networks to a receiver anywhere in the world. It can also be used as an H265 (HEVC) encoder direct to your LAN and/or satellite for compressed video streaming. The Zao is a hardware based H265 encoder, that combined with its own RASCOW technology for bonding multiple mobile carriers, allows good quality full HD (1080i) to be maintained even when there is low transmission bandwidth. Ideal for news and sports environments, it is possible to get the delay to as low as 240ms.
