About MTFX - Winter Special Effects
MTFX was founded in 1993 as a special effects company that was able to provide spectacular and artistic yet cost effective solutions for the TV/Film and live event industries. MTFX was founded by Mark Turner, an experienced pyrotechnician and special effects designer, who has been providing effects to the industry since 1985.
MTFX Winter Effects is MTFX’s snow and winter effects division and offers a huge range of artificial snow, frost, ice and many other winter related special effects. We can offer a variety of realistic falling and laid snow effects, using a range of machines and snow types including paper, plastic, granulated foam and liquid foam. We also sell a large selection of winter props which are ideal for shop window displays or home decoration.
Artificial snow and winter props are available to buy from our online shop, or for larger shoots/events you can hire professional snow machines either with a team of our Technicians to rig and operate them for you or as a dry-hire to operate yourself – call us for more information.
