Lorraine McInerney
Over the years Lorraine has had the experience of learning her trade at the top wigmakers in London. She has run work rooms and also been freelance, making wigs for television, film & stage. She takes pride in all wigs being of consistantly high standard. This knowlege she now employs to run her own wig company with business partner Matt George.

Matt George
Five years working with leading photographers in the fashion industry, and a period of study at the London College of Fashion, gave Matt sufficient experience to break into the world of Hair and Wigs. He worked on film dailies and television productions before focussing on musical theatre.

Ten years later, with numerous successful West End and foreign productions under his belt, plus Head of Department experience and other supervisory roles, Matt combined his experience with Lorraine’s to form The Big Wig Company.

This successful partnership provides their clients with a deep knowledge of period and contemporary making and styling techniques. This extensive hands-on experience ensures an understanding of the requirements of designers and performers. They are able to work within budgetary constraints without compromising their high standards of quality.
