Master Modelmakers
Autodromo Ltd has been in operation for 15 years concentrating on models and prototypes for the motor sport industry. Our broad experience in architectural models, exhibition and display, together with associated production techniques, enables us to provide a complete service from conception, through design, to manufacture.

Our extensive facilities range from fabrication equipment in metal, wood and plastics with the finishing resources of a fully equipped spray booth, electroplating, centrifugal metal casting and polyurethane resin moulding. We also provide design and graphic solutions from waterslide and tampo printing through to packaging and full exhibition stand format.

Services
Aerospace
Working with clients including the Imperial War Museum and Bloodhound SSC the last four years have seen us produce models as diverse as an edition of 1:64th scale Bloodhound SSC land speed record vehicles to a multi-component GRP model of the Boeing B29 with a wingspan of over 8 metres.

Design & Prototype
Our extensive knowledge of manufacturing technologies, product design and innovation consultation all contribute to a comprehensive design and prototype service. From initial sketch ideas, a full rendering service is available for both 2D and 3D drawings for product and tooling.

Architecture
A model is almost always the most effective and immediate way to demonstrate the design and function of a project. At Autodromo we combine in-depth knowledge of traditional modelmaking with a love of new techniques and materials. We can provide quick, affordable models for design studies and competitions, through to fully detailed presentation models for marketing, planning and public consultation.

Automotive
Creating models for promotion, sponsorship, paddock and display. From one-off 1:1 scale to editions of any scale and number for both contemporary, historic vehicles and transport related projects.

Museums & Exhibitions
We can integrate innovative technologies and software controlled interactives, alongside hand-crafted interpretations. Effective Project Management with many in-house facilities, including high quality fabrications and spray finishing.

Casting & Mouldmaking
Our extensive knowledge and experience of new, as well as long established, casting & mouldmaking techniques means that we can interpret your requirements and advise on best approach subject to cost, time constraint and, ultimately, finish.

Surface Finishing & Electroplating
Surface finishing on master parts and SLA for moulding purposes, require exacting standards and quality. Being master model makers we know how crucial ‘finishing’ is to a final product and are meticulous both in its selection and application. The range of finish can be from textured and hand polished through to a finished product surface with all paint and graphic detail.
