About The Movie Lot Security for Film & Television
The Movie Lot is the leading provider of security and location support to the British film and television industry. Established in 1997, we are proud to have secured over a thousand large and modest productions.
With an unrivalled depth of knowledge and experience, we are equipped to assist every Production, regardless of the scale of their requirements or the complexity of their operation.
We continue to offer a professional, quality and friendly service and all our operatives are experienced, vigilant and will assist with all the location team and owners requirements as well as working closely with the film crew to ensure a trouble free, safe shoot.
When a member of the crew or public approaches a filming location, the first person they will encounter will be a security operative in a high visability jacket and he/she will be friendly, polite, informative as well as a vigilant guard. These first impressions are important and will reflect the Movie Lot, the Location department and the Production as a whole.
Location Support
With over a decade in the business, we know the pressures a busy production can bring. Some days there just doesn't seem to be enough ‘hands on deck’. With this in mind, The Movie Lot prides itself in the level of location assistance we can bring to any set.
Production Security
As we all know, first impressions count, so when a member of the crew or public approaches a filming location, the first person they will encounter will be a security operative in a clearly identifiable high visibility jacket. All of our operatives will be consistently friendly, polite and informative as well as serving as a vigilant guard.
Traffic Management
We offer a specialised bespoke Traffic Management services to cater for aspects of filming, we assist and offer advice on the best methods to achieve safe, cost effective highway management with Chapter 8 and LANTRA trained supervisors and operatives. from our vast experience we ensure CAD drawings can be turned around in a very short timeframe and also interacting with film boroughs and highway agencies .
