There's so much to enjoy at Russborough ....

Russborough welcomes visitors to the demesne (estate) to explore the grounds and walks, explore the rich heritage and the lovely rooms, learn about the Beit Art Collection, enjoy the Maze and relax and discuss the history over a cup of tea or coffee.

You can begin with a leisurely walk around the grounds in front of the house, and view the magnificent mansion from the far side of the lake. Why not try the Maze and see how far you can get?

The house, which has been described by historian Mark Bence-Jones as 'arguably the most beautiful house in Ireland', has some wonderful rooms, with magnificent interiors and ceilings, along with some exceptional collections of furniture, silverware and porcelain.


Our staff are always available to provide interesting information, or answer your questions. There are also regular guided tours of the house.

Russborough has now welcomed guests and the public for over 30 years, and plans to provide even more facilities and exciting events in 2008. Vist Russborough and see its treasures and wondeful setting, with the Wicklow Hills in the background.

Please also note that we are open on Bank Holiday Mondays, and note that St Patricks day is now Saturady 15th March, and we will be open this day as well.

May 1st 2008 to October 2008 - Every Day: 10.00am - 5.00pm

January 2008 to April 2008 - Sundays & Bank Holidays: 10am to 5pm

October 07 to December 07 Every Sunday: 10am - 5pm

House is open all year around by apointment.
