Her portfolio of award winning commercials, promos, virals, print advertising, dramas and music videos includes the film ‘Washdays’ (Rushes Soho Best Short Film), short film ‘40 Years’ (Orlando Film Festival Best Film, LA United Film Festival Best Film, London Film Festival Official Selection) and the famous T-Mobile advert ‘Sing-a-long’ (Euro Effies Silver Award, British Arrows Silver Award) involving 13,500 people. Specialising in commercial casting and street casting, Tree is also renowned for casting children due to her ability to extract performances from even the most reserved child. She has cast children with a broad range of skills including break-dancers, yo-yoists, swimmers, footballers, cheerleaders, skateboarders and gymnasts and has been involved in the licensing process from beginning to end. Her widely known expertise in street casting has seen her find musicians, trampolinists, farmers, circus performers, bakers, lookalikes, tattooed people, clubbers and drag queens. Before setting up her company Tree Petts worked in a number of complementary industries that have given her invaluable skills and insight into the creative and commercial process that casting is just one part of. Over 15 years experience as an actress encompassing stage, film and TV have enabled Tree to more fully understand exactly what type of actor is needed when interpreting the requirements of the Director and Creative team - essential for successfully completing a casting brief. Two years as Head Booker and Men’s Booker at Z Model agency provides an in depth knowledge of the modelling industry, with her production experience including Artist Liaison and Production Co-ordinator at Robert Fox Ltd and representation of both UK and US directors for Propaganda Films and Satellite Films. This wider knowledge of the production process guarantees clients a smooth and responsible casting process.
