Twickenham Studios holds the unique position of being the only studio actually in London that caters for the needs of both production and post.

Offering bespoke services for film, TV and commercial, we aim to create a boutique experience for all of our clients.

Situated in South West London in the fashionable borough of Richmond upon Thames, Twickenham Studios is only 20 minutes from central London.

We have some of the largest dubbing theatres in the country with Dolby Atmos capability. A Picture Post department will be launched with Baselight grading, Dolby reference monitor and online/offline suites.

Our doors first opened to the world of film making way back in 1913 and with over a century of experience we are more than qualified to deliver the best service!

STAGE 1
Stage One at 7,500 sq ft and with a height of 34 ft is our largest stage. The concrete tank is housed underneath the floorboards and is suitable for both wet and dry builds, and once exposed a further nine feet is added to the overall height of the stage.

STAGE 2
At just over 15 x 12 metres, Stage 2 is the ideal location for the smaller set or photographic shoot. However, a rising door between this stage and Stage 3 allows for an L-shaped area of approximately 700 sq metres (7530 sq ft) to be created.

STAGE 3
Stage Three has seen the filming of many famous films including Roman Polanski’s ‘Repulsion’, Karel Reisz’ ‘The French Lieutenant’s Woman’, Lewis Gilbert’s ‘Shirley Valentine’ and more recently, ‘War Horse’ directed by Steven Spielberg and ‘Before I Go To Sleep’ directed by Rowan Joffe and starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth.

Stage Three links to Stage Two by a rising door (15′ x 12′ wide) making an L-shaped area of 700 sq m (7530 sq ft).

Twickenham Studios has a full offering of ancillary facilities to our three stages including dressing rooms, wardrobe, make-up and hair, art department, costume and productions offices.
