Chimney Pot Sweeps Up Film Master Grading System

Digital Vision has announced that pioneering post-production company Chimney Pot has purchased a Film Master grading system for its recently launched Moscow facility.
The new facility will join existing ones in Stockholm, Oslo, Kiev and Warsaw all of which use the Film Master as its primary grading tool.
The Nucoda Film Master will be used by Chimney Pot for commercial work and feature film D.I. projects and will be built around a Bright SAN with a Cintel DatamillTelecine/Datascanner and JVC projectors in the suites.
Henric Larsson, Managing Director, Chimney Pot commented on the purchase: “As we work on a lot of commercials the Film Master is the best suited product for this market. This is mainly due to the colour enhancement toolset and video integration for versioning and deliverables, which is very good. The Digital Vision technology also provides us with an astounding amount of power in a cost and space effective solution which our clients are thrilled to work with.”
Formed in 1996 Chimney Pot has specialized in the production of digital imagery and grading for commercials, feature and music promos including projects for Madonna, Rolling Stones and Robbie Williams. In 1998 The Chimney Pot expanded its operations to include local offices in Oslo, Norway and Warsaw in Poland. Each local office has sound studios, telecine, grading tools, 3D and effect tools such as Inferno and Fire and the group employs over 65 people to look after its national and international clients.
Digital Vision is a leading developer of advanced digital media applications specialising in film and video solutions.
