Imago announce team for successful new subsidiary

Impromp2u, the subsidiary launched in August by specialist distributor Imago Micro, have broken all initial sales targets and have had a resounding welcome from the channel.
Impromp2u are the only UK trade supplier currently offering services to support conferencing, presentation and corporate resellers. In their first three months the company have carried out a number of major installations, warranty upgrades and delivered plasma screens and video conferencing units for hire.
The organisation is being headed up by Andy Wright, a director of Imago Micro, who brings a wealth of experience of the video communications market. He is backed up by a strong team combining Peter Thompson, formerly Head of Technical Support at Imago and Luke Ambrose, who, as Project Manager, is responsible for bringing together all elements of the installation from specifying the equipment through to advising on the ambient light. Also in the team is John Worrall, an expert in video conferencing, who can provide expertise on VC installations and carry out technical training to the resellers.
Andy Wright said: “We knew that there was a requirement for good quality services amongst AV, VC and corporate resellers, so it has come as no surprise to receive a lot of attention in a relatively short time. What we are offering is a working partnership with the reseller, enabling them to provide a full and expert solution to their customer. Installation and warranty services have been particularly popular.”
