Inscriber pursues 'complete' on-air HD graphics solutions

Inscriber launched a complete line-up of HD graphic solutions for the broadcast, cable, satellite and post-production industries at NAB.
Inscriber hailed the innovative solutions as "designed to assist broadcasters making the transition to HD and those launching new HD channels".
At NAB, Inscriber's character generator (Inca Studio HD), master control graphics (Inca Station HD), real-time 2D/3D broadcast graphics platform (Inca RTX HD), networked graphics/automation (Inca AutoCG HD) and information channel solution (Inca InfoCaster HD) were premiered.
With a 20-year track record of on-air graphics solutions, Inscriber promise graphic tools that will drive HD broadcast graphics with seamless integration into existing broadcast environments.
In addition to SD and HD solutions, Inscriber is releasing a range of solutions to specifically support broadcasters planning their HD transition: HD Upgradeable Graphics Products, HD/SD Simulcast Products and HD/SD Selectable Graphics Products that have been specifically engineered for easy upgrade to HD with minimal in-the-field modifications.
At NAB Inscriber presented on-air HD graphic solutions including:
  • Inca Station HD for master control graphics and channel branding which Inscriber claim as the first on-air system combining logo, multiple real-time data crawls and unlimited layering.
  • Inca Studio HD a real-time, multi-layer live production HD graphics system that delivers sophisticated, composition and playback of graphics through a comprehensive suite of design tools.
  • Inca RTX HD is the most flexible and capable real-time 2D/3D graphics, video and clips platform available for custom HD broadcast applications.
  • Inca RTX HD offering real-time 2D/3D graphics, video and clips platform available for custom HD broadcast applications.
  • Inca AutoCG HD is a central graphics playout solution providing the combined functionality of a still store, character generator and clip player with connectivity to operate under command of industry-standard automation systems or MOS-enabled environments.
