Custom Consoles Announces Latest-Generation M-Desk Technical HA Media Workstation

News Image
Custom Consoles is to highlight major refinements to its M-Desk Technical HA heavy duty height-adjustable desk workstation on stand J26 at The Media Production & Technology Show (Olympia London, 15-16 May).

New features include high-strength CDF construction, metal-clad vertical supports, LED lighting at the front and sides and in the footwell, desktop cable trays feeding work-surface cable ports, plus five under-side power sockets for desktop equipment.

"First introduced in Q3 2022, M-Desk Technical HA gave media professionals the freedom to set the desk height to match their personal preference," commented Neil Reed, Custom Consoles Managing Director. "They also gained ability to transition quickly and easily between seated or standing work modes, delivering globally acknowledged advantages in terms of posture-related ergonomics. The height-adjustable version proved a very successful addition to our product range, both in the broadcast-related and security sectors."

MDesk-Technical HA is a heavy-duty workstation with an electrically motorised desktop which can be adjusted in height from 66 to 125 cm above floor level. Free-standing 19 inch desktop pods can be specified at the time of order or added later. The latest version of M-Desk Technical HA builds on the success of the original and also offers options such as a desktop induction pad to charge mobile devices. Retained features include the massive 400 kg total lifting capacity, optional personal or PC storage and free-standing 19 inch desktop pods, plus a wide choice of worktop surface finishes in hard-wearing Marmoleum.

Custom Consoles Module-R is mix-and-matchable control-room furniture system which allows aesthetically attractive and robust broadcast control-room furniture to be created on a project-specific basis from a range of high-quality pods, base sections, 19 inch rack housings, worktops, end-panel modules and legs. Coordinated desktop-level pods are available as single-bay sections with up 13 U chassis capacity. Module-R desks are designed to offer the greatest possible freedom of choice in terms of desk size, configuration and facilities. Unlike one-piece control room furniture, Module-R desks can be expanded or reconfigured at any time during their working life. Auxiliary pods of various sizes for broadcast industry standard 19 inch rack-mounting equipment can be specified at the time of installation or added later. Individual elements such as desktops can be replaced easily if required for operational or aesthetic reasons. Customers can select from a wide range of IT-friendly options including single, double or triple width base units, 15, 30, 45 or 90 degree angled corner units and curved desk sections to follow any radius.
