The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that TelevisaUnivision has acquired free-to-air and pay TV broadcast rights for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 in Mexico.

This partnership between the IOC and TelevisaUnivision includes 200 hours of coverage of the Olympic Games on TelevisaUnivision’s Canal 5 free-to-air television platform.

The free-to-air broadcast will be complemented with pay TV coverage on TelevisaUnivision’s TUDN channel, as well as simulcast coverage on ViX, the company’s streaming platform.

Anne-Sophie Voumard, Managing Director of IOC Television and Marketing Services, said: "We are delighted to continue our long-term partnership with TelevisaUnivision, which ensures comprehensive coverage of the upcoming Olympic Games Paris 2024 for viewers in Mexico."

"Our valuable partnership with the IOC will allow us to offer Mexican audiences the most complete multiplatform coverage of what will be the most relevant sporting event worldwide next year. We are ready to deliver a unique experience to our viewers and users," added Olek Loewenstein, President of Sports Content at TelevisaUnivision.
