AVIWEST Partners With Vodalys

AVIWEST and Vodalys have teamed up to offer an easy-to-use cloud video production and low-latency delivery solution for corporate live events.

Using AVIWEST's high-quality video contribution system and the Vodalys.Studio cloud production web platform, producers can dramatically simplify content production and web streaming for corporate communication. With the Vodalys and AVIWEST systems, video professionals can produce outstanding footage of live events, from any location around the world, and simultaneously deliver video content to the web and to a range of social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Twitch.

"The cloud production and webcasting features of Vodalys.Studio, combined with AVIWEST's powerful live contribution solution, create a highly professional, end-to-end solution for corporate communication," said Dominique Henninot, CEO at Vodalys.

Featuring up to eight internal cellular modems (4G/3G or 5G/4G), AVIWEST's bonded cellular field units — including the PRO Series, AIR Series and MOJOPRO Series — empower video producers to capture live video with greater efficiency, stability, and mobility. Built with AVIWEST's Emmy Award-winning SST technology, an intelligent IP bonding stack, and powerful contribution network protocols, the transmitters offer broadcast-grade video quality with less data usage and higher network throughput to ensure the best possible quality of service for viewers.

Vodalys.Studio is an intuitive, cloud-native platform that provides video professionals with all the required tools to mix and edit live video feeds, including graphic layers, titles, and scores, simply from a web browser. With the platform, professionals can also stream their content to a wide audience on social networks or a private web player designed for corporate communication with first-class CDN (optimized for international and large audiences). Integrated together, the Vodalys and AVIWEST technologies allow producers to broadcast live video with ultra-low, end-to-end latency of about four to five seconds compared with the 20-second latency typically offered with generic CDNs.

"We're excited to introduce a comprehensive solution that totally meets video professionals' needs in terms of streamlining remote production, ensuring an exceptional quality of service that keeps audiences engaged while being cost-effective," said Ronan Poullaouec, chief technology officer at AVIWEST.
