'The Late Late Show with James Corden' is to be brought to the UK and Ireland for the first following a new agreement between Sky and CBS for the exclusive rights to the hit U.S. series.

From the 19 July, all Sky TV and NOW TV entertainment pass customers can enjoy full episodes of the destination weeknight chat show with host James Corden on demand, one day after its broadcast in the U.S.

In addition, Sky 1 will exclusively broadcast 'The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special on the 19 July featuring Corden's favourite moments from his first year in late night, and highlights from his Carpool Karaoke segments with Adele, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey.

Customers with Sky Q, Sky's next generation home entertainment system, will also be able to enjoy all the best clips from the show, past and present, including Carpool-Karaoke, in the Online Video section alongside amazing content from the likes of Funny or Die, Red Bull and GoPro, Jamie Oliver's Food Tube and Vice.

'The Late Late Show' throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests from the world of film, TV, music and sports, as well as musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show.

Since the show's U.S. launch in March 2015, 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos. The show's official YouTube channel has surpassed 1 billion total views, has 138 clips with more than one million views each and 6 million subscribers.

Gary Davey, Managing Director, Sky Content, said: "The Late Late Show has be-come a global cultural phenomenon and the UK & Ireland audience has delighted in James' runaway stateside success. There is a huge appetite from UK and Irish fans to enjoy the antics of The Late Late Show first hand and we are thrilled to exclusively bring the show direct to our customers."
