Monty Pythons To Reunite For Film

Members of Monty Python’s Flying Circus are set to reunite for a new Sci-fi comedy film, it has been revealed.
According to an interview, published in Variety, director Terry Jones has confirmed that surviving members of Monty Python’s Flying Circus including John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin are on board for the new movie that he will direct and it is still hoped that Eric Idle will also sign up.
Jones told Variety: "It's not a Monty Python picture, but it certainly has that sensibility."
The sci-fi spoof is titled Absolutely Anything and will combine CGI and Live action and the Pythons will be voicing key roles as a group of aliens who award an ‘earthling’ with the power to do ‘Absolutely Anything’. Also there’s apparently going to be a talking dog voiced by Robin Williams.
This will be the first time the comedy fivesome have appeared together in over a decade. The last time the five remaining members of the iconic comedy group appeared together was in 1998 at the Aspen Comedy Festival.
Absolutely Anything is based on a script by Jones and Gavin Scott and it is understood that plans are for filming to begin in the UK this spring.
