Telestream Announce Video-Based Training

Class on Demand, a provider of professional educational products for creative markets, has announced a new training initiative with Telestream.
Episode Encoder and Episode Encoder Pro customers will now have immediate access to video-based support with Complete Training for Episode Encoder and Episode Encoder Pro.
Known for advanced encoding capabilities for multiple platforms, both Episode Encoder and Episode Encoder Pro desktop applications deliver high quality, lightening fast video encoding across a variety of mediums.
Class on Demand will provide a link within the Episode software that will direct users to a sampling of their in-depth, self-paced instruction for a unique approach to immediate customer support. Complete Training for Episode Encoder and Episode Encoder Pro follows Class on Demand's award-winning training methodology and offers expert instruction from Nate Caplin, a seasoned conference speaker and Telestream expert.
Paul Holtz, founder of Class on Demand, said: "Telestream recognises the tremendous benefits of a well-trained customer. It is no surprise that they are the first company to incorporate Class on Demand video-based training lessons within their software applications.
"Becoming acquainted with any software programme can be difficult, therefore customers presented with a new way to streamline that learning process will be more likely to efficiently utilise the product. We are happy to be working with Telestream to build brand loyalty, which is paramount in today's highly competitive market."
Linda Stromberg, Director of Product Marketing at Telestream, said: "We are thrilled that Episode customers will now have instant access to a sampling of the award-winning, high-quality training produced by the talent at Class on Demand. The sample lessons provided by host and compression expert, Nate Caplin, immediately delve into the breadth of Episode features, revealing the full power of these encoding tools. Customers wanting additional instruction will be conveniently directed to the option of purchasing the full 4-1/2 hours of extensive video-based training."
Links to the User Interface Chapter of Complete Training for Episode Encoder and Episode Encoder Pro will be accessible within the Episode Encoder applications and include three full-length lessons:
  • Intro and Tour (7.23)
  • Compression Settings (10.37)
  • Job Batch (4.55)
The Telestream website also provides a description of Complete Training for Episode Encoder and Episode Encoder Pro instructor information, as well as a purchase option, linking customers to an online order form.
